Gigabit Internet Option Coming Soon

Spiral Fiber is building a new all-underground 100% fiber optic gigabit internet network in our neighborhoods. Later this year, Spiral begins building projects in the 95959 zip code, and will continue into the 95975, 95946, and 95949 areas.

An all-underground fiber optic internet network has been designed and will be constructed, which will make it safe from wildfires, high winds, and heavy snow. The network is being built with redundant back-up power systems, so it will be 100% up and running throughout PSPS events and power outages.

At the start, one gigabit per second (Gbps) symmetrical download and upload internet access will be available. However, the network will be 10 Gbps ready.

Burn Permits Required As of May 1st!

Escaped residential debris burns continue to be a leading cause of fire suppression calls in Nevada County. Learning to safely and cleanly burn vegetation debris helps to minimize smoke emissions and allows firefighters time to respond to true emergencies. It is your responsibility to know and follow local and state burning regulations. Failure to follow these regulations is a misdemeanor offense and you may be fined and prosecuted for the expense of containing a wildfire.
